Jonathan’s Story:

On July 3, 2017, 24-year-old Jonathan O’Shaughnessy was walking home with family members from the City of Richfield Street Dance. At approximately 11:15pm at 64th Street and 4th Avenue, a van pulled up and fired at them, killing Jonathan. These assailants were unknown to Jonathan or the family and they still have not been caught. Jonathan and his family were blocks from his childhood home. Jonathan grew up in Richfield and is an alumni of the Academy of Holy Angels and Blessed Trinity Schools’ in Richfield, Minnesota. A memorial bench is located at the site of his death to remember Jonathan.
